We finally made it back to visit St. George! I miss this place. It was our home for 20 years. Our kids were born there and raised there. Sometimes I wish we could just move back, but right now that is not in the cards for us. Who knows maybe one day we will get to move back there. One never knows
Wow nothing like feeling old. Ashton graduated Syracuse High School with High Honors. Top 3 % or something like that of her class. What a beautiful smart girl. I am so very proud of her

After having long hair for all of her life pretty much Ashton decided to chop it all off and do something different and it turned out so cute.
Also Braden is almost as tall as Ashton now which means...yep you guessed it...he is taller than me now. I only have Logan left that is shorter than me and he is growing like a weed...I posted this picture cuz I think it is cute. I love my kids

Everyone knows how much I miss my home in Saint George, Utah, but one of the things I really love about living in Clinton where we live is the Sunsets we can see from our front yard. We get some beautiful ones. Ashton likes to go out and take pictures and this is one of my favorite ones. I like that she got our neighbors tree in with the sky and all those colors. We had beautiful sunsets in St. George too, but the ones up here just seem to have more color to them. It is one of my favorite times of the day. We will just go sit on the front porch and watch the sunset.

Well here is project number 2....The first project worked out so well hollering Dad, that Ashton and her friends did it again. Only this project was they had to build a catapult. Easy enough right...well no it wasn't. This thing had to launch a water balloon I can't even remember how far, but it had to launch from our driveway and hit the neighbors driveway across the street. They worked on this stupid thing forever. Wade finally had it where it was launching pretty good. They were all tired of the whole thing. The day they had to take it to school, Wade brought it for them they set it up and they got it all ready to launch and it didn't go very far. Wade was so mad, but the girls didn't care. They got the point they need to still get an A in class. That is what counts right??? Wade wanted to blow the stupid catapult up when they were done. Well at least there will be not science projects this year.

Well....here we are another school year has started...Ashton is a Senior, wow a Senior...I can't believe she will be 18 in just about a month.
Braden is in 9th grade so it is official now, all his grades begin to count. He is still anxiously awaiting turning 15 so he can get his drivers permit.
Logan is in 4th grade. His class is a 4th and 5th grade spilt. I wasn't sure about that, but it was the teacher he wanted so we thought we would give it a try and hope for the best.
Braden actually cut his hair before school started so now he doesn't have to walk with his head tilted to the side, he can walk upright and normal now...hehehe

Ashton's dreaded Physics project....

What do you do when your teacher gives you an assignment that has to include 10 "machines" to work together to light a match that will then light a candle???? You yell DAD!!!!! Wade, Ashton and her friend Audrey spent almost three days planning and building this machine. It seemed that after the project was built they tried it several times to see if it would work and one try after another something would go wrong...Wade even at one point begged the ball to hurry and drop through the bowl before the match went out..quite entertaining. The day the project was due everyone was nervous I am sure. Wade took off of work early to be there to help set the project up. Ashton and Audrey went first and I am sure with their breath held put the ball in motion...everything went perfect they both got 100% on the assignment. Wade was so excited he took the girls out of school early and they went to Warren's for shakes. That assignment was going to kill them I think. It is nice to know when you get handed something you aren't sure you can do alone you can just holler out DAD!!!
